 Soochow University MBA2024 grade orientation series activities

 ——The freshman meeting successfully closed

On July 20^th, 2024, the welcome event for the 2024 cohort of Soochow University's MBA program was successfully held amidst the scorching summer days, filled with the buzzing of cicadas. This season of Soochow University is brimming with excitement and a grand gathering.

To celebrate this significant moment, the Soochow University MBA Student Union specially organized a welcome event themed The Chirping of Summer Cicadas Marks a Timely Reunion, as a New Chapter Awaits to Unfold, and We Journey Together. The event aimed to foster interaction and cooperation among the new students through a series of creative and team-building games, jointly embarking on an exciting journey within the Soochow University MBA family.

At the beginning of the event, Qi Wenxi, the new president of the Student Union, provided a detailed introduction to the union's organizational structure, including departments such as the Secretariat, Publicity Department, Cultural and Sports Department, External Liaison Department, Academic Department, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department. The union operates with the fundamental purpose and basic orientation of dedicating ourselves to serving the students, firmly establishing the work philosophy of serving the students, relieving the teachers, and contributing to the college.

Following this, under the leadership of Tang Chang from the Cultural and Sports Department, an energetic ice-breaking group dance brought everyone closer together, launching the team games segment amidst laughter and joy. The new and old pairing team formation allowed for creative and collaborative efforts in designing team flags and planning unique team styles. Activities such as You Draw I Guess, Blindfolded Watermelon Eating, and Three-Word Sentence Making showcased team spirit and coordination, deepening mutual understanding among the participants.

As the event neared its end, gifts were exchanged, and under the serendipity of numbers, each person presented their thoughtfully prepared small gift to a fortunate recipient.

Unknowingly, the event was coming to a close, but our story is far from over. In the next three years of Soochow University's MBA program, may our friendships grow deeper through the trials of time, and may our lives become more beautiful with each passing day. We look forward to the next gathering, the next laughter. May each of us find our own happiness and joy in our respective lives.
