Soochow University Business School Sand 14 & New 10 Departure Ceremony Successfully Held

At 7:00 a.m. on April 19th, Sand 14's chief commander, Ms. Jing Mao, and old sand buddy, Ms. Huang Qi, led Sand Race team members: Mr. Liu Yanchu, Mr. Zhang Ziheng, Mr. Li Chaoyang, Mr. Zhang Huanhuan, and reserve team member, Mr. Jiang Doudou, to carry out the “Dinosaur Jr.” special training at Dome Mountain in Suzhou's Wuzhong District. Along the way, Mr. Mao carefully taught the team the skills of cross-country running, as well as the details of the sand race and the precautions to be taken in the desert.

In the afternoon of April 19-20, according to the equipment list prepared by the chief commander of Sand 14, Ms. Mao Aijing, team members Liu Yanchu, Zhang Ziheng and Li Chaoyang packed the sponsored materials, collected materials and borrowed materials for each team member in preparation for the new sand race.

At 13:30 pm on April 20, after the team members received their personal supplies, Ms. Mao Aijing led the Sand 14 and New 10 team members to stretch in the playground.

After the training, while the team members were relaxing and resting, Ms. Mao explained the process and details of setting up camp tents, storing sleeping bags, and wearing sand-proof shoe covers.

At 16:00 on April 20, Soochow University Business School Sha14&New10 Departure Ceremony was held in 317 Lecture Hall of Business School. Wang Youyu, Vice President of Soochow University Business School and Director of MBA Center, Hu Yong, Secretary of Administrative Party Branch and Director of Comprehensive Office of Soochow University Business School, Liu Yanchu, Secretary of MBA Center of Soochow University Business School, Han Chun, Vice President of MBA Alumni Association of Soochow University Business School, Wang Hai, Director of MBA Alumni Association of Soochow University Business School, Qi Wenshi, Chairman of MBA Federation of Soochow University Business School, Li Shuangshuang, Shen Qing, Zhao Agile and Zhang Ziheng, Vice Chairman of MBA Federation of Soochow University Business School. Li Shuangshuang, Shen Qing, Zhao Agile, Zhang Ziheng, Vice Chairmen of MBA Federation, and Sha 14 & New 10 team members attended the ceremony.

Wang Youyu, Vice Dean of Soochow University Business School and Director of MBA Center, delivered a speech for the departure ceremony. Wang Yuan expressed his happiness and congratulations to the successful team formation of Sand 14 and New 10, and believed that studying is not only about attending classes, while absorbing the knowledge of the courses, he also encouraged everyone to try and participate in various activities outside our courses more at the best age. Wang Yuan also shared his own experience of participating in the sand race and the good memories he left behind, hoping that the team members can also take this opportunity to show the style of SUU, and also has high hopes for our sand race super A team member Li Peng. While motivating the team members to go all out and challenge to break through themselves, always keep in mind to pay attention to safety, and finally wished the competition a complete success.

Before awarding the flag, Ms. Mao Aijing, the commander-in-chief of Sha14, sent a message: The charm of the sand race can only be deeply understood by entering the game with your own hands. The new 10 commander-in-chief Li Chaoyang sent a message before awarding the flag: as the new 10 commander-in-chief and Sand 14A team members, he shared the origin and growth experience with the new race. Hu Yong, secretary of the administrative party branch and director of the comprehensive office of the School of Business, made a speech for the departure ceremony.
